Starting projects is always fun. Coming up with a million ideas for different projects is awesome! Actually sticking with a project….extremely difficult. My mind is always racing with ideas for something new. New foods I want to try, new cakes I want to bake. Arts & crafts projects for the girls. My list is endless. Starting a project is pretty easy for me. The initial intentions are there, with lots of energy. However, I lose interested quickly or become distracted by life. This is what happened with my blog.

When money becomes tight, expenses must be looked at more closely. We decided to cut the internet for a few months because of the money situation. I have learned it is almost impossible to write a blog without having the internet. The internet was not the only thing we cancelled. We also decreased the amount of money spent on groceries and got ride of the truck-with payments- for something smaller and paid in full. Also easier on gas.

I thought it would not be that big of a deal. I could go to the library or go to the local coffee shop once a week. Ha! Going to the library with my hyper-active children does not allow for me to use the internet. And the local coffee shop increased their prices by almost a dollar.

Now things are starting to get back to normal and I get to write this from the comforts of my couch at home 🙂 This small luxury makes me happy and puts a smile on my face. Be glad for the small things.
